👩💼Lynne is an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor in early-stage tech. Currently, she is devoting her time and experience to “work for Bitcoin”, believing that the adoption and education of Bitcoin is one of the most important purposes today. She is writing a book, "DeFiant Finance: Why Bitcoin is Inevitable" 📚, as well as supporting startups that are building on the Bitcoin and Lightning protocols ⚡.
After beginning her professional career on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch 💼, she relocated to Mexico 🇲🇽 where she has lived for more than 20 years. As the founder and Managing Partner of MITA (Mita Institute and Tech Accelerator), Lynne was an early supporter of tech innovation in Mexico 🚀. Its affiliated MITA Ventures Fund has employed a technical focus, investing in startups from Mexico and LatAm since 2013 💰. Beginning in 2011, she organized the MITA TechTalks conference, to showcase tech innovation from the Mexico/LatAm region. Since 2017 Lynne has also been a mentor in the respected, non-equity acceleration programs Google for Startups and MassChallenge Mexico 🌟.
Lynne’s unique perspective is a result of her first-hand combination of experiences in traditional finance 💵 and living and transacting in an emerging economy 🌎. Lynne is committed to advancing the adoption of Bitcoin to contribute to what she views as a more hopeful and abundant future 🌱.
